Due to the effect of the typhoon, the sport facilities under the Public Sports Facilities Network of the Sports Bureau were damaged to different extent. After repairing and a series of cleaning works, some of the sports facilities were reopened to the public from August 29.
After more repairing, the second group of sports facilities will be reopened to the public from 1 September, enabling the public to continue to practice exercises for improving their physical fitness. For more information on the reopening of the facilities, please refer to the attached document.
The remaining sports facilities are currently under inspection and maintenance to ensure that all facilities shall be in a safe condition for public use. The date of reopening of the facilities will be announced in due course.
